Melasti beach located at ungasan area, this beach has good access since the government develop the area almost the same time with Pandawa beach become a touristic area, but “Melasti” mean a Hindu Balinese purification ceremony and ritual, which according to Balinese calendar is held several days prior to the Nyepi holy day. It is observed by Hindus in Indonesia, especially in Bali. And thia beach become place to do that ceremony.
- Stop At: Padang Padang Beach
Padang Padang is popular surfing break with wonderful waves and good facilities. Or just bask in the sun – this little sand beach is perfect. You can also come across some monkeys there so do not leave your things unattended. You may remember the beach from the film Eat, Pray, Love. There are also plentiful food vendors and umbrellas for rent. The surfing break is offshore, but the waters in close are calm and there’s a good shallows area by the overhang. The prime surfing here is not for beginners. It’s a fast long pipeline on a shallow reef and has a reputation for being one of Bali’s nastier waves. Better for beginners is the gentle right hand wave, it is very forgiving. You don’t need to be a surfer though to hang out, the water is turquoise and the sand soft and yellow, it’s very pleasant and peaceful. It really does feel like a perfect beach while lounging under the shade of a big umbrella and staring out at the gentle blue waves lapping at the shore.

On the cliff adjacent to the temple, one of Bali’s most memorable Kecak Dance performance can be witnessed on sunset that begins at 6 p.m. A group of 60 men dressed only in sarongs and red hibiscus tucked behind the ears, swarm onto the circular open air stage. Be prepared, the performance involves loud chants of “cak, cak, cak” – a sound you won’t be forgetting anytime soon.

This was such a great experience. I really got to see some of Bali’s culture and amazing beach around Uluwatu. Our guide, Rika, was amazing. He explained a lot of the traditions. I enjoyed a private tour of uluwatu’s beaches, uluwatu temple and the kecak dance. Above all, what made the trip special was Kadek’s excellent service throughout the day. A great way to experience beautiful Melasti, Padang-Padang beaches in air conditioned comfort! Thoroughly enjoyed the Kecak & Fire dance at Uluwatu -brilliant costumes too! Would recommend bring your sunshade & a beveridge while waiting for dance to commence. Jimbaran bbq dinner on beautiful beach a perfect end to our day. Bayu collected us on time from our Sanur accomodation & has been our best tour driver we have had in recent visits to Bali (& throughout Asia!) I went to Uluwatu Temple through a guide named Wayan. All the way to the temple, he explained various things about Bali to us, so we were able to go to the temple without getting bored. And it was so nice that they were so kind to fit everything into the schedule we wanted. The restaurant he introduced was delicious, and the sunset view was great. I really recommend this tour!! It left me with good memories.

We flu d this package on Google with some positive review and we decided to booked it. Turn out the tour was so nice and the Driver is so helpful with assisting us for a pictures, he also give us some time like 2 hours to spend the time on Melati beach and Padangpadang beach, and we had really good time for Kecak dance during the sunset. Our suggestion please bring your sunscreen because in the day it become a bit hot. Thank you for the service it was great.

Definitely everyone must try this trip, we were enjoy the trip with putu, at first we visit the beach in Uluwatu and we ask for a stop for a lunch before Uluwatu temple and Kecak Dance. The dance and the sunset was so beautiful we were so lucky with the weather. We really recommending this from our experiance. Bravo balisakti we love it.

It was a great time to do this tour. I was doing this trip alone and I was thinking that the trip was a group tour but it’s turn out the tour was private and I feel this is so safe and fun. This trip is amazing,
My wife and I did this while we were in Seminyak Bali, originally we wanted to do the Kecak Dance with the sunset at Uluwatu. And we searched on google to find this tour and tour package combined with 2 beaches, Melasti Beach and Padangpadang which we really liked the beach. The Kecak dance was really good and we managed to see the sunset during the performance. We really love this tour combination created by Balisakti. The driver was very nice and he spoke very good english. In the end this is a recommended tour package

We had a fabtatic day with Bayu, fantastic and knowledgeable guide. The most amazing beach we visited was Padang Padang, monkeys an amazing trip down through the rocks to get there. Rented an umbrella and spent 2-3 hrs there. The Temple and the dance were amazing too, such a great tour finished with a sea food dinner on the beach !! Thanks Bayu
